Since LAUNDRY4655 first opened it's doors in mid-October 2020, we have been providing the local community with top-notch laundry services. Our state-of-the-art washing machines & dryers, along with our commitment to customer satisfaction has made us a reliable and trusted business in Hervey Bay. We are often told that we are the "biggest & best laundromat" in not only Hervey Bay, but also in Australia.
At LAUNDRY4655, we offer a self-serve laundromat for your convenience, 7 days a week, 5am to 11pm.
We also offer a Drop'N'Go service for busy families and businesses. The laundromat offers a big variety of washers & dryers, which include large capacity machines for bulky items such as doonas. To make your visit even more enjoyable we offer large folding tables, spacious & comfortable waiting area, a tv to watch, vending machines for coffee, cold drinks & snacks. Our state-of-the-art washers & dryers are cleaned throughout the day and are regularly maintained to ensure they are working at optimal efficiency.
The owners and their friendly staff are dedicated to provide you with the best laundry experience possible. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you with any assistance that you may need.
CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENCE
The laundromat is thoroughly cleaned throughout the day. We disinfect all common surfaces with a hospital grade disinfectant. Each of the washing machines has an ozone disinfectant system attached to it which claims to remove 99.9% of bacteria, mould and mildew.
We provide a dust shovel & broom, mop & bucket for our customers to use should there be any spillage of water or powder.
WHAT IS DEXTERPAY
DexterPay is an app, available in the App Store and on Google Play, that allows laundry customers to pay for their laundry and track the cycle progress via their smartphone or mobile device.
DexterPay will only function in laundries that support the system. It is designed to work exclusively with Dexter Laundry equipment.
To create a DexterPay account, you will first need to download the DexterPay app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you’ve downloaded the app, you will be asked to register for an account. DexterPay will send a confirmation to the email address provided, simply follow the instructions on that email to complete your account set-up.
PAY BY COIN, CARD OR DEXTERPAY
Our washing machines and dryers accept payment by either coins ($1 or $2), or pay by card with Nayax by either tapping or swipping your card. We also have DexterPay (download the app). Our code #5493.
We have a note change machine on premises which dispenses only $1 coins. The machine accepts notes of $5, $10, $20 $50.
WHAT MAKES OZONE EFFECTIVE IN A LAUNDRY?
When used in a laundry application ozone disinfects the wash water and everything in the wash, this is achieved best in cold water.
Ozone is the second most powerful disinfectant in the world and can be used to destroy bacteria, viruses and odours.
All our washing machines has an ozone disinfectant attached.
